5 SUMMER WARDROBE STAPLES

Well, hello summer! How are you already here?! Seriously cannot believe it's already June I feel like this summer really crept on me. Although, I must say summer is my favorite season which means I also obviously love summer clothes too. Jean shorts, tank tops, flip flops are all apart of my vocabulary during the summertime. Yes, I know it can be freaking hot but it's also such a fun time for lightweight dresses and teeny tiny crop tops. With that being said, here are five summer essentials you NEED for summer!

Of course first up is a staple pair of jean shorts. I honestly typically hate jean shorts because they never really fit me right (they either fit my waist but don't fit my thighs or fit my thighs but are huge around my waist)! I know these are pricier but I have this style in both the short and long version so I'm telling you I think they're worth the money. They're a soft denim but fit great and I love the longer length if you're wanting to be a bit more modest!

You can never go wrong with a classic black flip flop in the summer and these are super comfortable, have a nice thick platform so they give you some height, and they're under $50!

I LIVE in dresses all summer long when it's hot out because they're easy to throw on and breezy so you don't get too hot. I love a good poplin maxi dress like this because it's a classic you can have in your wardrobe for years!

Honestly didn't think I'd be an exercise dress girl but ugh they're just so convenient and easy to throw on when you're running errands or going on a walk and they seriously help beat the heat.

Last but not least, a linen top!! So versatile, light and airy, and goes with literally everything. I have this specific one in white and black and I'm obsessed with it and wear it constantly. It's also super cute as a coverup!
